Manufacturing of industrial prototypes
The creation of industrial prototypes and of small series models requires the use of material that perfectly respects the work needs and with the characteristics needed to create the prototypes. For this purpose, the SCP production is based on the use of materials that come directly from our workshops with the intention of achieving the manufacturing of quality, resistant and functional elements.
The material use, in fact, influences the definition of the components, contributing to the creation of items able to reach high levels of performance, both from a technical and aesthetic point of view, contributing to the correct functioning of machinery and systems or simply becoming 3D design objects with a bold or elegant character, depending on the actual requirements.
With the aim of achieving impeccable results, we use a variety of production technologies including additive manufacturing and 3D moulding, using the potential of mixes of resin, rubber, nylon and materials similar to ABS.
Materials for SLA
The materials used in stereolitography require the presence of characteristics that are useful to achieve the definition of prototypes that are highly resistant to water, to discrete load impact and to breakage lengthening. They must, however, at the same time offer wide freedom of working to achieve the definition of elements that respect the initial design.
Materials for SLS
The materials used for laser sintering must guarantee the manufacture of small series prototypes and models accompanied by a great aesthetic impact, through transparencies and the extreme attention to the individual details. To these characteristics are added those of resistance and flexibility, particularly sought after in this field.
Materials for DMLS
The materials used in the performing of metal sintering processes require high mechanical and thermal resistance capabilities, being well suited to applications in a variety of settings such as automotive, medical, aerospace and automation. The right material is essential for components synonymous with efficiency.

Different technologies require the use of equally different materials. For this reason, before proceeding with the production of a certain prototype, we carefully evaluate the characteristics of the same material, of the reference process and those of the product to be created.
